Karoly has a university degree on economics.

He worked for years as an agency producer at Saatchi&Saatchi Budapest, and in various agencies as a freelancer.

He started to direct commercials in 2000. Since then he has done more than 250 ads.

He has directed 10 short films that won 12 awards in 30 festivals.

He has directed 9 theatre plays and has won 4 theatre festival awards in four festivals.

He has directed 2 feature films. They have won 43 awards in 62 festivals so far.

He has directed and showrun two TV series for RTL Hungary, one was awarded best TV Series in 2020 Hungarian Film Awards. The second one is coming soon...
